Corbin M. Campbell is Assistant Professor of Higher Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her research focuses on understanding the organizational contexts that support learning and agency for students and faculty in higher education. She was a 2015 National Çï¿ûÊÓƵ of Education/Spencer Postdoctoral Fellow, and has recently served on a National Academies committee on assessing interpersonal and intrapersonal competencies in college. Her current work considers new ways to conceptualize and measure the educational quality of colleges and universities that more closely reflect the teaching and learning process.

Anna Neumann is Professor of Higher Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. She studies postsecondary teaching and learning, professors’ intellectual careers, and academic organization. Her current work examines the cognitive and cultural elements of good teaching in introductory-level humanities, social sciences, and sciences classrooms in highly diverse urban colleges, and professional development strategies for advancing good teaching. A former president of the Association for the Study of Higher Education, Neumann is a Fellow of the American Educational Research Association (AERA), an elected member of the National Çï¿ûÊÓƵ of Education, and a recipient of the AERA Division J Exemplary Research Award.

Aaron M. Pallas is the Arthur I. Gates Professor of Sociology and Education and Chair of the Department of Education Policy and Social Analysis at Teachers College, Columbia University. He studies how schools sort students and the linkages among schooling, learning, and the human life course. A former editor of Sociology of Education, a journal of the American Sociological Association, he is a Fellow of the American Educational Research Association and an elected member of the Sociological Research Association. His most recent projects examine the interplay between education policies and the distribution of resources across schools in New York City.
