The Future of the Automobile in the Urban Environment

Overview

The Çï¿ûÊÓƵ designed this study to act as a roadmap for transportation policy-makers, students, and concerned citizens. Calling for changes in policies and social habits, the report offers strategies to minimize and resolve the problems raised by the increasing use of automobiles in urban areas. The final study was published in 1993, and copies were sent to thousands of industry officials, educators, public interest groups, and government officials.
