Sally G. Hoskins is Professor Emeritus of Biology at the City College of New York. She is the recipient of the 2017 Elizabeth W. Jones Award for Excellence in Education from the Genetics Society of America, the 2013 Pearson Four-Year College & University Section Research in Biology Education Award from the National Association of Biology Teachers, and the 2007 and 2011 John Doctor Education Prizes from the Society for Developmental Biology. Her work on the CREATE strategy appears in Genetics, CBE–Life Sciences Education, The Journal of Microbiology and Biology Education, The American Biology Teacher, Journal of Undergraduate Neuroscience Education, and Science.
