Linda Goode Bryant is an activist, filmmaker, and entrepreneur. She is Founder and President of Active Citizen Project and Project EATS, a neighborhood-based project that uses art, urban agriculture, social enterprise to sustainably produce and distribute fresh, plant-based food to black and brown communities in New York City.

As a filmmaker, she is known for her short films and documentaries, including co-directing the award-winning documentary Flag Wars. Filmed over 4 years in Columbus, Ohio, Flag Wars explores tensions between the longtime residents of a working-class black neighborhood and newly arriving white, gay homebuyers.

Goode Bryant has also been a gallerist and founded Just Above Midtown, a New York City non-profit interdisciplinary artists’ space that spotlighted and supported new work by black artists and artists of color, many of whom created abstract work, used affordable materials, and created video and performance art.
