Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education

Daniel I. Greenstein is Chancellor of Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education. He previously led the Postsecondary Success strategy at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and served as Vice Provost for Academic Planning and Programs for the California State University System. He is a contributing author to The History of the University of Oxford, Volume XVIII: The Twentieth Century (ed. B. H. Harrison, 1994) and the author of A Historian’s Guide to Computing (1994) and Modelling Historical Data: Towards a Standard for Encoding and Exchanging Machine-Readable Texts (1991).
