Carola Suárez-Orozco

Carola Suárez-Orozco is Professor in Residence at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and Director of the Immigration Initiative at Harvard. Her research focuses on elucidating the child and youth experience of immigration. Her books, with Marcelo Suárez-Orozco, include Children of Immigration (2001), Learning a New Land: Immigrant Students in American Society (also with Irina Todorova, 2008), Transitions: The Development of the Children of Immigrants (2015), and Education: A Global Compact for a Time of Crisis (2022).
