Beth Simone Noveck is the author of Solving Public Problems: How to Fix Our Government and Change Our World (2021). She is Professor of Technology, Culture, and Society and the Director of the Governance Lab at New York University. In 2018, Governor Phil Murphy appointed her to be the Chief Innovation Officer for the State of New Jersey. She is also the author of Wiki Government: How Technology Can Make Government Better, Democracy Stronger and Citizens More Powerful (2009) and Smart Citizens, Smarter State: The Technologies of Expertise and the Future of Governing (2015).
