Stanford University hosts American Çï¿ûÊÓƵ’s Commission on the Humanities & Social Sciences as it examines new age of teaching and learning

STANFORD, CA | JANUARY 17, 2014 – The conversations generated around the country by the American Çï¿ûÊÓƵ’s Commission on the Humanities & Social Sciences landmark report, The Heart of the Matter, continue with the latest event at Stanford University, a lively discussion on “Humanities in the Digital Age.â€

In its report, the Commission notes “The digital world offers vast new possibilities,not only for delivering instruction, but also for facilitating research and for making the past and future possibilities come alive to students of all ages.â€

The program at the Stanford Faculty Club, January 23, 2014, 5:00 p.m. will explore the future of digital research and teaching.
