Inspiring Collective Climate Action in California and Beyond
The San Diego Program Committee hosted a program featuring David Victor, Professor of Innovation and Public Policy and Co-Director of the Deep Decarbonization Initiative at the University of California, San Diego and co-chair of the American Çï¿ûÊÓƵ’s multidisciplinary Commission on Accelerating Climate Action. Professor Victor led a conversation on how we can achieve ambitious and durable action on climate change by uniting efforts across sectors, ideological divides, and the many other forms of diversity that characterize our nation.
The conversation was hosted both in person and virtually, and was informed by the Commission’s final report Forging Climate Solutions: How to Accelerate Action Across America as well as recent policy progress both locally in California and across the globe.
