Erik M. Conway is the Historian at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory at the California Institute of Technology. He is the author of Merchants of Doubt: How a Handful of Scientists Obscured the Truth on Issues from Tobacco Smoke to Global Warming (with Naomi Oreskes, 2010), Exploration and Engineering: The Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the Quest for Mars (2016), and A History of Near-Earth Objects Research (with Donald K. Yeomans and Meg Rosenburg, 2022).
